Damn, that’s a hefty load for it not to register!
I posted the original challenge! Nice proof. I have a guess as to why the scale didn't work: it has those fancy capacitive touch sensors on the front as "buttons;" and the whole surface looks continuous between the buttons and the business end of the scale. Either drops of *liquid* will never work, because of the captouch (and you'd have to put a piece of foil/wax paper something down first & tare). Or, the continuous surface of the scale means that the design itself can't register anything under like 20 or 30 g (which is basically = mL here).
